Chitrini Publishing Community:

Chitrini Publishing Community (CPC) is a space for people who are interested in art and craft to share their thoughts, stories, knowledge, observations and perspectives.

You do not need to be an artist, craftsperson or professional writer to contribute. If you have something meaningful or interesting to share about art and craft, we would love to hear from you.

How to Submit

If you'd like to contribute to Chitrini Publishing Community, please email your article to chitrinihandmade@gmail.com with the following details:

• Full Name

• Blog/Article Title

• Short introduction about yourself

• Brief introduction to your article (2–3 lines)

• The complete article as a Word/PDF file or in the body of the email

• Instagram/Social Media handle (optional)

• Photographs/illustrations, if applicable, along with appropriate credits

• Sources/references, if applicable

Before submitting

• Your submission should be original work written by you.

• You are welcome to write about art, craft, artists, artisans, art and craft traditions, experiences, observations, research, ideas, or other subjects connected to the creative world.

• Your article can be based on your personal experience, knowledge, observation, research or perspective.

• Please ensure that any facts, quotes or information taken from other sources are appropriately credited.

• If you use photographs, illustrations or other visual material, please ensure that you have the right to use them and provide appropriate credits.

• We recommend an article length of 800–1,800 words, although this is not a strict limit.

• Please write in your own voice. You do not need to be a professional writer to contribute.

• Chitrini may make minor edits for grammar, spelling, formatting and readability while retaining the author's voice and intent.

• Submission of an article does not guarantee publication. All submissions will be reviewed before publication.

  About the nature of CPC

   

  Chitrini Publishing Community is a completely voluntary, non-monetary initiative.

  There is no payment involved for submitting or publishing an article, and Chitrini does not earn money from these contributions.

  The initiative exists as a community platform to provide people with a space to share their work, ideas and perspectives around art and craft.

• By contributing, you are voluntarily allowing Chitrini to publish your article with appropriate credit.

• By submitting your article you confirm that:

• The submitted work is your original work or that you have the necessary permission to submit it.

• Any external sources, images or materials have been appropriately credited.

• You give Chitrini permission to publish the submitted article and accompanying material on its website and associated communication channels, with appropriate author credit.

• You understand that submission does not guarantee publication.
